About Facilitators Database
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is committed to improving its development effectiveness. Managing for development results (MfDR) is a cornerstone of this commitment. ADB fully subscribes to MfDR, applies the principles in its own operations, and is actively promoting MfDR within its developing member countries (DMCs). At the project level MfDR is being operationalized through a participatory approach to project design and management and applies the design and monitoring framework (DMF).
Since 2006 COSO has been and continues to build DMC in-country capacity to facilitate the application of participatory results-focused project design and management tools and the use of the DMF. So far more than 100 PPMS facilitators from 16 DMCs have graduated. This Facilitators’ Database has been created to support ADB staff in their search for qualified facilitators for project processing, project implementation, reviews and monitoring.
The Facilitators’ Database serves as a one-stop reference and provides information of the facilitator’s qualifications, a track record of facilitation assignments and contact details.
